Michele has established a career as a landscape painter, becoming known for her emotive and textured ‘open air’ painting style. However, she has found this label “Landscape Painter” to be quite stifling lately. Her interest lies in Nature as a whole as she views landscapes through varying lenses, depicting imagery that doesn’t necessarily fit into the “Landscape” box. Staying true to her art, she has restructured her portfolio to reflect her expanding practice.

Here, you will continue to find her most current and accomplished Plein Air and Landscape paintings. Yet because nature is manifold, Michele has broadened her practice to explore the symbolic language of Vanitas Still Life, along with Vignette Scenes that provide a more intimate, scaled-in focus on natural elements.
